Download Recognition Application

As of October 2006, the IAGLCWDC has decided to reserve the term "sanction" for approved IAGLCWDC dance competitions hosted and conducted by IAGLCWDC member clubs. For non-IAGLCWDC member organizations wishing to host and conduct a dance competition using IAGLCWDC Rules and Judges, the term "recognize" shall be used.

Any non-IAGLCWDC member organization wishing to apply for recognition of their dance competition may do so by filing an Application for Recognition (PDF format only).

An Application of Recognition must be filed the EARLIER of

  1. 45 days prior to the IAGLCWDC annual or semiannual convention immediately preceding the event, or
  2. 6 months prior to the event.

Before approval of an application, the dance committee may request that an authorized agent of your organization attend the convention and meet personally with the committee and the IAGLCWDC delegates.

Mail the completed application and the required application fee to the address on the form.
